​The Clever Dogs class is hosted on Saturday mornings. Obedience class is open to dogs from 18 weeks all the way to the golden oldies. Although it is a big bonus if your dog has done puppy class, we welcome all dogs.
​
What and Why?
​Obedience class helps to teach our dogs basic behaviours such as sit and stay on command. It helps the owner to learn how to read their dogs and understand how they think, and it help dogs to focus on their owners and learn how to work for a reward. This creates a new sort of bond between owner and dog. Obedience can also help with discipline and minor behavioural issues. In our obedience class we also like to bring in socialization after class as it is a big need for all dogs, and vital to a fun experience.

What to expect in fundamental obedience
​We teach sit, down, push ups, stay, heel, recall, focus, go find and touch, each week these exercises are made more complex to help you grow.
Brilliant Dogs
(Intermediate Obedience)
Info
​Brilliant Dogs (Intermediate Obedience) is the follow up course for Clever Dogs (Fundamental Obedience). This is great for those owners and dogs who want to do a little more with their dog and achieve greater heights.
​
What and Why?
​This is a great course to further you and your dogs training, we work to improve not only your dog’s obedience but also his/her social behaviour and lead manners.
​
What You Will Learn
​In Brilliant Dogs we introduce distance control, place,send away, paws up, emergency stop, we will teaching our dogs right and left, we also work on longer focus, stay and formal heel work.
